About the Event
Interested in exploring some of the inner workings of social movements?
During last year young people around the world achieved extraordinary things and there is lots we can learn from how movements and uprisings have succeeded in the past
We will be exploring some concepts and ideas from a series of webinars produced by a group of social movement organisers from the US and what we can learn from it to build more power as young people
Some questions this will include is:
- What are the dominant organising traditions at work in movements?
- What are the different theories of change we can base our work in?
- What are the elements of a movements ‘DNA’ and how can we do our best to consciously design these?
Its is recommended that you attend all four sessions since each one will explore slightly different content
