About the Event
Join us for a free open session on April 26th from 2–4pm to explore a different way of living. We’re a group of young people in Stroud working to create a housing co-op – a community-led approach that offers an alternative to today’s mad rent prices and traditional renting.
This session is open to anyone interested at all, whether you’re just curious or already thinking about new housing options. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where you can learn what housing co-ops are, how they work in practice, and why they’re becoming a powerful community solution.
We’ll also share our plans for building a co-op locally and how it could support more affordable, secure, and community-focused living. There’ll be time to ask questions, meet others, and see if this is something you’d like to be part of :))
