Join us this month to learn all about why the 12th of October has been reclaimed as Indigenous Resistance Day. We'll be having dinner as always from 6-6:30 before our sibling Marina joins us via Zoom to explain the history and importance of the day & how we in Stroud can get involved.

About the Event
These dinners are our offer to the community of Stroud to come together in these times of crisis and start talking across the generations and yummy vegan dinner. This month we'll be learning from our siblings in Somos Semillas (who will be joining on Zoom) about Indigenous Resistance Day (12th October) and why they're inviting us to be part of it!
Many more people than ever are talking about Indigenous People and their vital importance as part of our global family. Originally named 'Columbus Day' after the so-called 'discovery' (more like invasion) of Columbus in the Caribbean - this day has been reclaimed by Indigenous Peoples across the world and has become a powerful international rallying cry, into which we're invited through RYSE's part in the PRALER process.
