People's Justice! - The RYSE's Monthly Dinner and Discussion ✊🌱🔥

These dinners are our offer to the community of Stroud to come together in these times of crisis and start talking across the generations and yummy vegan dinner. This month we'll be focussing on People's Justice and the question: 'as the Law of the State becomes ever more repressive, can we reignite the People's Law and win justice on our own terms?'

We'll be discussing the current Public Order Act that is so focussed on smashing our right to protest that the UN Human Rights chief is demanding it gets scrapped - looking at examples from around the world of communities practicing People's Justice - exploring the local youth campaign School is a Crime Scene that is using People's Justice as a core element + of course drawing on the amazing experience of yourselves who come along!

Dinner 6-6:30 and then Discussions from 6:30-8 🍜✊💚

It'll be very much a space for sharing from our own expereinces and about the video/picture prompts we bring - so no need to be an expert, as we always quote from The Zapatistas - 'Between all of us we know everything' - and this is very much our attempt to bring together people from across the community to start having the big essential conversations.
