SISTER Launch - The RYSE's Monthly Dinner and Discussion ✊🌱🔥

These dinners are our offer to the community of Stroud to come together in these times of crisis and start talking across the generations and yummy vegan dinner. This month we'll be focussing on the wider web we're weaving called SISTER - Stroud in Internationalist Solidarity, Together for Earth Repair - and how you can get involved. SISTER is our local part of PRALER - the Planet Repairs Action Learning Educational Revolution - and already we're bringing together budding Elders, Educators, Parents 4 Future and more to ask the crucial questions:

• How can we work towards Planet Repairs and in the process begin to re-weave ourselves as a community of resistance and repair?
• How can we work locally while thinking globally (together glocally) and so once again become a powerful SISTER within a Global Family struggling for decolonisation and a world transformed from the grassroots up?

Might sound big and ambitious - and tbh that's exactly because it is, we're talking about nothing short of actually becoming powerful again and taking back the ability to organise our lives as a community. But don't worry, it starts small and we're all walking together - our Robin will lay out lots of the ideas and then it'll all be about discussing, questions and working together to find solutions - as always, everyone is welcome!! ✊🌞❤️‍🔥

There will be dinner from 6-6:30 and then the talk/discussion from 6:30-8pm - turn up for either or better both :)) donations welcome on the day but not required - all food vegan + gluten free options.
