About the Event
In the digital age our generation has grown up with film - its gone from being the new thing to literally everywhere and is by far the most popular form of media. At Radical Restart we love films - we love the way they bring stories to life, give us glimpses into completely different realities and well you do look a bit weird eating popcorn while reading the newspaper...
This week we'll be watching The Square, a film that follows a group of young Egyptians through the 2011 revolution and until 2013 - its a very personal account of these historical moments and shows both the power and pain of steet protest. Nominated for an Oscar for best documentary this is a must watch fo those looking to understand the human journey that is a revolution - check out the trailer here if you're keen!
This is one of the amazing films we want watch and these sessions are our invitation to come join in - we'll watch the film, have some discussion and get to know each other.
