So, let's talk Monarchy 👑🌶️ - The RYSE's Monthly Dinner and Discussion ✊🌱🔥

These dinners are our offer to the community of Stroud to come together in these times of crisis and start talking across the generations and yummy vegan dinner. This month we'll be focussing on The Monarchy - we mean it is the Queen's funeral after all, what else could we talk about? 🙃

And we know some people will be like, but do you really have to talk about the royals? Well to that we can only say that, with one of our close friends spending time in jail this week for simply holding up a placard saying her truth we know we cannot stay silent on this huge part of the British story - we'll be bringing statements from our global family's perspective and asking y'all to bring your own stories and experiences.

We know this is and will be an emotional and contentous issue for all of us so we'll be working hard to hold the space with love and care 💚🙌🌱

It'll be very much a space for sharing from our own experinces and about the video/picture prompts we bring - so no need to be an expert, as we always quote from The Zapatistas - 'Between all of us we know everything' - and this is very much our attempt to bring together people from across the community to start having the big essential conversations.
